1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Treasure Trove website and platform operated by Treasure Trove ("we," "us," or "our") at TreasureTrove.site. By registering an account, accessing, or using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Treasure Trove under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable Indian laws.

2. Eligibility

By creating an account you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.
• All information you provide during registration is accurate and truthful.
• You are not prohibited from using the platform under any applicable law or order.

If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. The Platform & Virtual Coins

3.1 What is Treasure Trove?

Treasure Trove is an earn-and-redeem platform. Users complete tasks, surveys, offer walls, and other activities to earn virtual coins. These coins may be exchanged for specific rewards listed on the platform.

3.2 Nature of Virtual Coins

• Coins are a platform loyalty credit redeemable only for rewards listed on TreasureTrove.site.
• The display rate "100 coins ≈ ₹1" shown on the homepage is for illustrative purposes only. Actual reward values are set by Treasure Trove independently in the rewards catalogue.
• Coins have no guaranteed redemption value and Treasure Trove may change reward pricing at any time.
• Unused coins may expire as per the expiry policy visible in your dashboard.
• Coins cannot be transferred between user accounts.

3.3 No Investment or Gambling

Treasure Trove is not an investment scheme, lottery, or gambling platform. Mini-game rewards are fixed amounts set by the platform — not random or chance-based. No real money is wagered at any point.

4. Earning Coins

You may earn coins through the following activities, subject to availability:

Treasure Trove reserves the right to verify any task completion, withhold coins pending review, or reverse coins if fraudulent or manipulated activity is detected. A daily earning limit applies (configurable by the platform).

You must not use bots, scripts, VPNs to manipulate geo-targeting, multiple accounts, or any other artificial means to earn coins. Doing so will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all coins.

5. Referral Program

Treasure Trove operates a flat, single-level referral programme compliant with the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

• Trigger: Coins are credited only when the Referee's first task is approved — not on mere registration.
• Level: Level 1 only. You earn referral coins for your direct referrals only — not for referrals made by your referrals.
• No percentage commission: There are no percentage-based earnings, escalating tier rewards, or multi-level commission structures.
• No joining fee: Neither the Referrer nor the Referee pays anything to participate.
• No welcome bonus on signup: Coins are not awarded simply for creating an account via a referral link.
• Referral links expire after the period specified in Platform Constants (default: 365 days).
• Fraudulent referrals (fake accounts, self-referrals) will result in coin reversal and account termination.

6. Rewards & Redemption

6.1 Available Rewards

Rewards include e-commerce gift cards (Amazon, Flipkart), gaming credits (BGMI, Steam, Google Play), mobile recharges (Jio, Airtel, Vi), streaming vouchers (Netflix, Spotify), and UPI/bank transfers. Availability varies by country.

6.2 Redemption Process

Redemption requests are subject to availability, minimum coin thresholds, and admin approval. Treasure Trove reserves the right to reject any redemption request for valid reason, including suspected fraud or insufficient information.

6.3 Reward Fulfillment

Reward processing times are typically 1–5 business days. Treasure Trove is not responsible for delays caused by third-party vendors (e.g. Amazon gift card delivery, payment gateway processing).

6.4 Non-Transferability

Rewards cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash (except via the UPI/bank transfer redemption category through RBI-licensed payment aggregators).

7. Payments & Financial Compliance

7.1 Payment Aggregators

All UPI and bank transfer payouts are processed exclusively through Razorpay and/or Cashfree Payments — both RBI-licensed Payment Aggregators (PAs) operating under the Reserve Bank of India's Payment Aggregator Guidelines 2020. Treasure Trove does not disburse funds directly to user bank accounts.

7.2 Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)

As per the Income Tax Act, 1961, winnings from online earn-and-redeem activities may be subject to TDS. If your total payouts in a financial year exceed ₹10,000, we are required to collect your PAN (Permanent Account Number) before processing further UPI/cash payouts. Your PAN is stored using AES-256-GCM encryption and used solely for TDS compliance.

7.3 User's Tax Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes applicable to rewards and payouts received from Treasure Trove in your jurisdiction. Treasure Trove provides TDS certificates where applicable as required by law.

7.4 Daily Limits

UPI/bank transfer payouts are subject to a daily limit of ₹5,000 per user. This limit may be revised by the platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Creating multiple accounts to earn additional coins or circumvent limits.
• Using bots, automation scripts, or browser extensions to complete tasks artificially.
• Exploiting bugs, errors, or loopholes in the platform.
• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Submitting fake task proofs or manipulated screenshots.
• Attempting to sell, trade, or monetise coins outside the platform's redemption system.
• Engaging in any activity that violates applicable Indian laws, including the IT Act 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing platform staff or other users.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access the platform's source code or databases.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of all coins and pending redemptions, and may result in legal action.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on TreasureTrove.site — including the logo, design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Treasure Trove. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

By submitting content (such as task proof images), you grant Treasure Trove a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that content for the purpose of verifying your task completion.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Treasure Trove makes no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Treasure Trove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform, including loss of coins due to account suspension for Terms violations.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the value of coins in your account at the time of the claim, as assessed at the platform's reward pricing.

11. Account Termination

Treasure Trove may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms.
• Suspected fraud or abuse.
• Providing false registration information.
• Inactivity exceeding the period set in Platform Constants.
• Any other reason deemed necessary to protect the platform or its users.

Upon termination for cause, all coins and pending redemptions are forfeited. You may request account deletion voluntarily through Privacy Settings in your dashboard.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify registered users via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
